What Do Women Want?

For Christmas?  Got your attention with the headline, I know...but here are just a few recommendations for the lady in your life and if you purchase them via my Amazon link, I receive a small commission--which will go a long way in helping un-indenture this servant girl. ;)

Julie & Julia was a delightful movie, which Meryl Streep completely walked off with.  Be ready though, it will make you really hungry.

The Ugg Boots continue to be ubiquitous and with the temperature falling, I can see why shearling boots would be a draw.  However, these boots became popular in Australia, for après surf, so if you live in a warm climate, they work there too!

The Susan Boyle CD is selling like hot cakes...and is a great choice.  That lady has an amazing voice.

BROWNIES! No further comment necessary.

The Kindle seems to be catching on.  It's a top seller on Amazon.  I don't have one myself, but if your lady is a reader, I'm sure it's a gift she'll appreciate, and if not, Amazon has an awesome return policy.

500 Days of Summer is definitely one of the most original films of the year.  It's not just your typical silly Rom-Com.  I highly recommend this movie.

Thanks to Ran at Si Vis Pacem for using my link and providing a good suggestion for freedom loving ladies: Gun Stuff.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

GREAT! Girls should know how to shoot. I should add that to the list of recommends!

So I'm guessing the brownies linked above are not of the California medicinal variety given their availability through the mail.

Hah! Sadly, no...I don't believe Amazon was granted one of those special distribution licenses.

I would so be going for the Boyle, but my owner is an iTunes customer, so she's already downloaded that.

What have you got in the way of a chick flick?

Besides Julie & Julia? Definitely 500 Days of Summer...it's more than a chick flick...it's written from the guys point of view. I thought it was great, and definitely one of the most original films of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets an Oscar nomination for best original screenplay.

Come to think of it...I should have included that on my recommend list!
